I live in a temperate climate so there are always a few plants blooming, even in winter. Still it is exciting when bare deciduous trees and shrubs start sprouting tiny green leaves and blossoms seemingly appear overnight.

My thoughts start turning to freshening up the house–both with spring cleaning and switching up the decor on the mantels and coffee table. I’ll finally put away the autumnal colored items I favor (like these marble balls) and replace them with lighter, brighter pieces.
So far I’ve gathered up some of my antique sterling silver items, an amethyst geode and a spinach jade bowl (from my store inventory) to get me started. The silver shamrock snuff box is engraved 1887 on the back.

Perhaps I’ll show you what I come up when I’m when I’m all done!
And if you’re in the mood to shop I’ve pulled together some items below that seem perfect for spring.
